Audi vehicles are already being brought in, but we are now advised that Volkswagen have been given the go ahead for the recall fixes for 2L Passat, CC, and Eos models by the German Federal Motor Transport Authority.<\/p>\n

That equates to 800,000 of the 11 million worldwide!<\/p>\n

There is still a long way to go, and concerns over how well fixes will work<\/strong> on other models remains an ongoing issue.
\n
\nRecalls will supposedly be completed by the end of the year, but they were supposed to start in January and it’s taken almost half another year to actually get going with them. <\/p>\n

Experts have already stressed that Volkswagen’s assertions about the ease of the fix, and the results, is flawed<\/a>, and as recalls continue to engage we will know more about the results and the impact on their brand.<\/p>\n

Some of our clients who have had the fixes<\/strong> have come forward with concerns<\/strong> about the changes in performance and MPG, which ties in closely with the evidence we have from experts about the problems that the recall will cause. <\/p>\n

Whilst Volkswagen appears to be insistent that there won’t be any changes, the evidence points in the totally opposite direction.<\/p>\n
