Audi has admitted that another 60,000 vehicles are being recalled following further probes into so-called \u201cdefeat devices\u201d being fitted into more vehicles than previously confirmed.<\/p>\n

The models reportedly affected are the Audi A6 and the Audi A7 that are fitted with a particular type of diesel engine. Germany\u2019s KBA previously requested a hearing because of suspicions more models were fitted with illegal defeat devices.<\/p>\n

The news of the wider Audi recall will no doubt increase the pressure of the headache that parent company Volkswagen has been suffering since the breaking of the \u201cdieselgate\u201d scandal we\u2019re taking action on.<\/p>\n

It feels like it has been scandal after scandal for Volkswagen. Things seem to have only got worse since the initial announcement that they had cheated emissions testing. We have the refusal to compensate UK victims<\/strong><\/a>, the massive death toll scientist believe is attributed to the NOx emissions scandal<\/strong><\/a>, criminal probes, arrests and prison sentences, \u2018MonkeyGate\u2019, and now even bigger recalls.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s thought that the latest increased Audi recall may cost the automotive giant an additional 30 million Euros as they continue to pay for the massive human and environmental scandal they\u2019re responsible for. They must not be allowed to get away with what they have done, which is why we\u2019ve been taking action since the very beginning of the news breaking here in the UK.<\/p>\n

UK victims chance to claim ending soon<\/strong><\/p>\n

UK victims of the Volkswagen emissions scandal only have a small window of opportunity to make their claim if they have not yet signed up to the action<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
